National Osteoporosis Day

Did you know that October 20th is World Osteoporosis Day? Over 200 million are effected by the problem worldwide. 1 in 3 women, and 1 in 5 men over the age of 50 are affected each year.

Osteoporosis is a condition that occurs when the body loses too much or too little bone. Bones can break and become weak, and can break from something as simple as a sneeze or bumping into something. The good news is there are lifestyle and dietary changes that can help you have healthier and happier bones.
